Product Description

Danish-born sushi maven Silla Bjerrum and Brooklyn-bred Donna Freed have combined their passion for food and love of Acton (where they both live) to create Brøkton – which focuses on Japanese-style small plates.

Their first Acton pop-up of 2018 coincides with the launch of Silla’s first book “Robata” which translates as ‘fireside cooking’, and is a Japanese style of grilling food, consisting of delicious skewered morsels of fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables. It is the perfect marriage of raw and cooked dishes, served alongside each other and often eaten like tapas, with a focus on sharing.

Silla, aided by Donna, will be serving a menu based in recipes in the book and we’ll be whipping up some Japanese-themed cocktails and wine specials.
