Weekend Tastings Are Back!
We thought we’d give our weekly tastings a rest after the excesses of Christmas, and not put too much temptation in your way. But lots of you have asked about them, and it is great to know they’ve been missed!
As it is Chinese New Year, we will be celebrating new vintages of old favourites.
On Friday, we’ll opening the 2012 vintage of the 7 Fuentes red from Tenerife (£15.50) – which will go brilliantly with crispy duck – and the Liebre Y Tortuga Albarino 2013 (£12), which makes us think of stir-fried prawns in ginger or soft shell crab.
On Saturday, we’ll be opening two English whites from Three Choirs in Gloucestershire – the crisp, hedgerow-scented Coleridge Hill 2012 and the slightly more rounded and floral Willow Brook 2012 (£10.75 each). Plus a newly listed Italian red Michele Reverdito Barbera D’Alba Butti 2010 (£15.50).
The tastings run from 6-8pm on a Friday and 2-6pm on a Saturday.
